The Austin Perspective is a collection of artwork created by artist, Leslie Austin, which shows a variety of viewpoints from which she observes the world around her. Sometimes, the subject requires a palette knife carrying thick oil paint across the canvas, while other topics might suggest a light airy touch of watercolor, pastel or pencil to interpret the subject. Other perspectives might range from realistic to impressionistic to abstract or a combination of styles to keep the paintings vibrant and the viewer engaged. A broad “Perspective” of art keeps the painter growing, experimenting and challenged.
