Consider joining our Legacy Society
There is no minimum gift requirement. Every legacy gift, regardless of size, makes a meaningful difference and helps ensure the future of the performing arts in our community. Legacy Society members are acknowledged in our annual materials (if desired), receive invitations to exclusive annual events, and personal backstage tours.
WHAT YOUR GIFT SUPPORTS
Planned gifts to the Herberger Theater support our endowment, which funds:
- Free and low-cost programming that keeps the arts accessible to all, regardless of income
- Affordable rental rates for the resident companies and emerging artists who call the Herberger Theater home
- Education and outreach programs that reached more than 10,500 people last year
- The long-term maintenance and operation of a landmark downtown Phoenix venue

WAYS TO GIVE
A planned gift can take many forms. Common options include:
- A bequest in your will or living trust (as simple as one sentence naming the Herberger Theater as a beneficiary)
- Naming the Herberger Theater as a beneficiary of an IRA, 401(k), or pension, often the most tax-efficient option
- A life insurance policy with the Herberger Theater as a full or partial beneficiary
- A charitable gift annuity that provides you income during your lifetime
