The Herberger Theater Center depends on volunteers to staff all performances and assist with daily operational functions.

Ushers in the familiar black and white outfits are smiling, helpful individuals who welcome patrons to the theater, take their tickets, help them find their seats, provide them with accessible hearing devices and assist with emergency procedures if required.
Volunteering is a great activity for friends and family! Couples and friends often volunteer together. Students age 12 to 15 may volunteer, if accompanied by a parent, grandparent, or mentor.
You can apply to be an usher online. Click here for volunteer usher application.
An orientation is required for all new volunteers. As well as usher training, you’ll learn how to receive free parking for the shifts that you work.
