Featuring a special tribute dance performance to Frances Smith Cohen’s Snow Queen.Frances Smith Cohen’s Snow Queen enchanted audiences for 30 years at the Herberger Theater. It’s humble beginnings as a 20 minute dance blossomed into a full two-act ballet incorporating 150 children from all over the valley. This production was a holiday tradition for many Arizonan families and, with support from Judd and Billie Jo Herberger, was attended by hundreds of children every year who watched with wide eyes and happy faces as they were taught about the power of love, and dazzled by the magic of the theater.
