Artistic Opportunities

Each year, 10-12 exhibits are held in its two galleries located on the second level of the theater. Created as a venue for local artists in 2002, each juried exhibit is on display for one or two months. Exhibits may be viewed Monday through Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (check in at the box office), before performances, and during opening receptions.

Arizona artists age 18+ may apply for inclusion in exhibits through our Call to Artist blind jury process.

Theme Description

Things in our physical world that don’t quite seem normal, a distorted view of reality. Artwork that focuses on the unusual, the uncanny, and the unexplained.

Theme Description

An exhibit exploring the quiet power, beauty, and meaning embedded in everyday objects, routines, and moments. From the mundane to the overlooked, this exhibit invites artists to reframe what we often take for granted and reveal the extraordinary within the ordinary. We are seeking works that examine daily life – household items, habitual gestures, familiar spaces, common materials, or repetitive actions – and transform them through observation, interpretation, or conceptual inquiry. Submissions may be literal, poetic, critical, humorous, nostalgic, or experimental.
