THE THREE BRIDESA New Gothic Dance Production Inspired by Bram Stoker’s Dracula
Scorpius Dance Theatre returns to the world of vampires with the premiere of The Three Brides, an original dark gothic dance production inspired by Bram Stoker’s Dracula, performing November 5–7, 2026, at the Herberger Theater Center’s Stage West.Scorpius is well known for its beloved gothic production A Vampire Tale, which thrilled audiences for 16 years and toured throughout the United States and Europe, becoming one of the company’s most celebrated productions.Now, Artistic Director and Choreographer Lisa Starry returns to the gothic world she loves with an entirely new vampire story centered around Dracula’s mysterious three brides.“I knew if I returned to the vampire world, I wanted to create something completely new,” says Starry. “I’ve always been fascinated by Dracula’s three brides and wanted to imagine their story through dance.”Featuring a cast of 10 performers, The Three Brides will blend contemporary dance, theatrical storytelling and haunting gothic imagery to bring a seductive and mysterious new vampire story to the stage.RUN TIME
