Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine, imprisoned for her defiance against King Henry II, emerges as a formidable force as she navigates the complex dynamics among her husband and their three ambitious sons. With the backdrop of a Christmas visit, tensions escalate as each family member schemes to secure their place in the line of succession, exposing the dysfunctional yet enthralling essence of familial politics.
